Art at the Station
The bland subway at Foregate Street Station in the city centre has been transformed by a bright composition incorporating images of Worcester designed to appeal to all generations and combined with wayfinding information for visitors. The Arts Society Worcester brought together a coalition of local partners to commission the work. The steering group included representatives from Worcestershire’s Community Rail Partnership, Worcester BID (Business Improvement District) and The Colour Palette Company. There was also involvement from West Midlands Railways and the Community Rail Network. To learn more about the project, and see more detailed images of the local destinations highlighted in it, download a description from here.
